There's no strict minimum — every trip is different. That said, most of my clients invest somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000 in their overall trip, which gives you a sense of the caliber of experience I typically design. If your vision is smaller in scope, let's still talk — I'm happy to tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend planning at least 4 to 6 months ahead of your trip. Lead times have been shrinking across the industry, but a longer runway is what lets me secure the best availability, negotiate the strongest rates, and build an itinerary with the level of detail and care your trip deserves — rather than rushing to make something work.

If you're planning a holiday getaway, plan on even more lead time — 9 to 12 months minimum. Popular destinations and cruises in particular can book up so far in advance that we may need a year or more to get exactly what you want.

If your timeline is tighter, reach out anyway; I'll be honest with you about what's realistically possible.
